Community grows when people act together.

Since its founding on 7 December 2015, GeBiKuS e.V. has worked as a non-profit association for respectful and active community life. Our work connects health, education, culture and sport, bringing together people of different generations, backgrounds and experiences.

Locally, we're active with projects and encounters in Herne. Through our cooperation with Kollektium GmbH, a certified education provider, we also have a presence in Essen, reaching even more people across the region.

Internationally, we engage through Erasmus+ projects that give young people and youth workers from across Europe the chance to meet, exchange and learn together. Locally or across Europe, our goal is the same: to create connection and help people achieve more together.
