Youth in Action for the Environment
In Essen, young people from eight countries engaged with climate change and environmental protection, developing shared ideas for climate action.
Objectives
- Strengthen young people's motivation and skills to take action on climate change.
- Raise public awareness of environmental impacts.
Activities
- A preparatory planning visit (APV) from 31 January to 3 February 2023.
- Educational and hands-on activities on environmental education and climate action.
Outcomes
- Participants developed a stronger awareness of environmental challenges and sustainable practices.
- A network of environmentally conscious young people in Essen was established.
